The CrossFit Method

CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program, but what we do is as simple as “Constantly Varied, Functional Movements at High Intensity”.

Our gym is not fancy.  It is not filled with exercise machines, mirrors and we do not serve pizza on Fridays.  Instead we train with barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, gymnastic movements, running, jumping, and the occasional odd object.   We train with natural, functional movements, that carry over into everyday life.

Constantly Varied:  Every day you will walk in to the gym and do something different.   This means you will never get bored with it.

Our expectation of you is that you are willing to work.  To put in the effort.  To train with intensity.  Intensity is the magic bullet that makes CrossFit so effective.

The Foundations

CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains:   Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.

Our goal is to make you equally proficient in all of these.

Community

Community is a cornerstone of any CrossFit gym.  While our coaches are always here to encourage you and to get you moving as efficiently and safely as possible, it is the encouragement and camaraderie of your fellow members that will make them family!
