Nutrition Seminar = AWESOME!

I think it is safe to say that everyone who attended Jeremy Mullins’ Nutrition Seminar this past Sunday will agree that it was educational, inspirational and eye opening!  Not to mention that it was very well done!

So What’s Next?

Well, those who attended probably have a pretty good idea of how we can start down the path of better well being, increased performance, and weight loss – however, for those who could not make it, do not worry – we are now armed and dangerous with more nutrition knowledge than you can shake a stick at!  Just ask!  It is what we are here for.

Though we will most likely be cornering each of you about this at some point anyways :)

The Plan…

We are going to do a box-wide Nutrition Challenge! Details are to follow, but get ready!  Think of it like a contest AND a support group!

Of course don’t wait until then to start “reeling it in”!

Lab work – It is not too late!

A handful of you already approached after the seminar in regards to getting your blood work done, but if anyone else wants to get theirs done, all you have to do is get us $99, give us your name, your date of birth and we will set it up for you.

From there you just have to get to your nearest LabCorp facility.  It only takes 10 minutes and will give you an amazing insight into how you can tweak your diet for optimal results.

I LOVED yesterday’s seminar! He was truly an inspiration to us all. Not to mention that he was one of the first not to knock the vegetarian / vegan lifestyle, instead he embraced it and offered a wealth of information! Helping people find solutions instead of avoiding the more difficult situations like vegetarianism and Celiac disease…he knocked it out of the park!

And just got back my blood work back today and now I need to get my levels “dialed in”!

Do the blood work! It will show you so much, I was surprised with my results. It is so worth the money…

Got my blood work back as well… I am in the Vitamin D deficient club!

I have some work to do :)

And to echo what Jenn just said, I am very happy I did the lab work as well :)

Ok so what do I need to do to get it done guys??

  5. Nathan Feb 14, 2011 - Reply

Awesome! So… it is $99 payable to us (which all goes to them), then we send them your name (I think we got that part covered) and your date of birth (we might need that). We put in the “order”, they send me a receipt/order thing, I send that to you, then you take that to a LabCorp.com location and they draw some blood!

    Easy peasy!

    YES! I’m up for a nutrition challenge…

But I’ll need to get over my fruit and diet coke addictions. I guess I should unplug the soda IV from my arm now…If I come into the gym with the shakes you know why :)

Count me in!!! However, if u say we can’t have coffee, I might lash out.

I am right with you on the coffee! Though Jeremy did talk about caffeine as a proven effective supplement….

Is this challenge going to require a before and after picture??

  12. Jennifer Feb 15, 2011 - Reply

Yeah he said a cup of coffee or tea 45 minutes or so prior to a WOD is a good thing! I am going to have to start drinking tea more often while coaching class so I am all caffeinated up for my WOD!

Oh some of the other boxes are doing a small fee of $10-$20 for a prize at the end….anyone interested in that? It would give you more than one thing to work for then!

I’d be interested in donating my money to somebody… haha. If for some reason you are an early bird like me, call the Labcorp to get a 7 am appt. Or just show up at that time as they open then but don’t show an early appt online. So I was told.

Really glad about getting the bloodwork done and plan to do it every 3 months or so to see if I’m on track.
